A 2006 Andres Segovia Award winner (Musica en Compostela, Spain), Nadav Lev's playing was described as:
“Incredible tone and effortless fluid technique,” which “created magic on stage” (Classical Guitar at Yahoo).
An Israel native, he is the only guitarist to ever win the America-Israel Cultural Foundation prestigious Special Award for Studies Abroad,
in addition to other numerous awards and prizes.
Nadav performed and gave recitals throughout the US, Israel and Europe, in venues such as New York's Lincoln Center.
His New York Debut recital is scheduled to take place at Carnegie Hall in February 2008.
Nadav holds a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with David Starobin and David Leisner,
and has attended master classes with world renowned guitarists Pepe Romero, Sharon Isbin, Manuel Barrueco, Alvaro Pierri and David Russell.
He holds a Bachelor degree in composition from the Rubin Academy in Tel-Aviv, where he studied with Ruben Seroussi and Yizhak Sadai.
His compositions were performed at the International Asian Music Festival in 2004 as well as at other venues and theatre productions.
Nadav currently resides in New York City.
